ATMI-Tilt level switches for solid control

ATMI LOGOSolids tilt level switches

The SOLIBA solids tilt level switch measures the level of various solids including cereals such as oats, sunflowers, rice, wheat, soybeans, barley, oats, and sturgeons. To measure the level of cereals in your silohopper or other container, you must place the detector at the maximum fill level you have chosen. When the silo is going to fill up, a cereal slope will be formed and that will push the tilt level switch. This one will tilt and will activate electrovanes, automatons.

How to measure the level of a silo ?

ATMI recommends placing the detector on the opposite side of the tank filling and leaving enough space with the silo wall for optimum travel. This equipment with a very simple mechanical operation has several advantages: it is very resistant; it does not risk burying even with cereals of low density. In addition, it is resistant to dust. Indeed, even completely covered with dust, it will continue to function without alteration. It operates only when the high level is reached, so it allows the energy saving. This device is totally environmentally friendly because it is free of mercury and lead and is very easy to install without any adjustment.

To measure the level of cereals in an explosive zone, you will have to choose another model from the SOLIBA range: the Soliba EX P and the Soliba EX GP.
The SOLIBA tilt level switch will enable you to control safely the level of cereals in your silo.
