Beer Producing Processes with Electromagnetic Flow Meter

FineTek announces a new application of electromagnetic flow meter for beer core processes, which features with diversity of fluidic range even in mixing of air, bubble, liquid and solid phases. This DC pulse excitation of electromagnetic flow meter is innate with high excitation current up to 5A that provides best signal / noise ratio which can fit the process characteristics of beer processes, especially for the half full to empty pipe delivery situation.

No matter it comes from malted grain, barley, wheat or rye, the beer produces in constant mixing of high concentration draft beer and sterilized water that controlled their flow ratio by electromagnetic flow meter. It experiences the brewing, fermentation, filtering and bottling processes accordingly. The whole processes need fit with CIP (clean in place) and SIP (sterilize in place) standards. Therefore, its linear  extremely be required for PTFT or PFA and stainless steel electrodes only, to avoid the erosion of Hydrogen Peroxide Solution and lye.   The most common of metering time is 1~3 seconds for a batch and pipe size from 50mm to 100mm.

Fig.1 indicates the temperature mechanism for whole beer brewing processes, likes the initial malt crash and separation (49-55℃), break down protein and transfer starch to sugar (65-71℃), and fermentation and deactivate enzyme processes (75℃). In conclude, the beer brewing experiences up to 21 processes and all related to the core control factor, how accurate flow control by electromagnetic flow meter you have. Would you like beer? Take care of your appropriate electromagnetic flow meter and cheers.
